Will the animation be preserved?
Frames within the selected clip are animated in the output. Frame rate and color quantization can change the appearance. GIF-to-video converts one playback of the source animation.
How do I make the GIF smaller?
Use a shorter clip, lower width, or fewer frames per second. GIF is limited to 256 colors; this tool uses a 128-color palette. MP4 or WebM can be more efficient for longer clips. Smaller output is not guaranteed.
Is there a limit?
Inputs are limited to 100 MB. Animated GIF output is limited to 20 seconds and 640 pixels wide. Processing stops after ten minutes. Use short clips on mobile devices.
Does GIF keep sound?
No. GIF has no audio track. GIF-to-video output is also silent.
